ABOUT

About The Parentless Guide:

I know what it’s like to grow up without parents.

When you don’t have parents to guide you, even simple milestones can feel overwhelming…like managing money, making decisions, trusting yourself, or knowing what you’re “supposed” to do next.

Everyone else seems to have a safety net.
You’re expected to just figure things out.

If that’s been your experience, I want you to know this first:

You’re not broken.
You’re not behind.
And you’re not alone.

Why I Created The Parentless Guide

The Parentless Guide exists because growing up without parents, or losing them, changes how you move through the world.

There’s grief, yes.
But there’s also confusion, pressure, and the quiet fear that you’re doing life wrong because no one ever taught you how to do it.

I created this blog to offer the kind of support many of us didn’t have:

  • Clear guidance when things feel overwhelming
  • Reassurance when you’re doubting yourself
  • Practical help for the parts of life no one explained

This isn’t about “fixing” you.
It’s about supporting you while you build a life on your own terms.

What You’ll Find Here

At The Parentless Guide, you’ll find a mix of emotional support and practical guidance, including:

  • Practical adulting guides for things parents usually help with
  • Emotional reassurance for the days grief or loneliness feels heavy
  • Simple systems to make life feel more manageable
  • Honest conversations about navigating adulthood without parental guidance

Everything here is written gently, clearly, and with the understanding that grief and independence often exist at the same time.
